Introduction

Many GP trainees do not struggle because they are not working hard. They struggle because their effort is not translating into the right kind of evidence in the portfolio. The issue is rarely a lack of activity, but a lack of direction, structure, and understanding of what the system is actually assessing.

This session focuses on identifying the most common mistakes trainees make with WPBA and portfolio entries, and how to correct them early. The aim is to help you move from simply “doing the work” to demonstrating clear capability development that stands up at ESR and ARCP.
